Access by public transport

From Brussels Airport (30-40 minutes):

  • By Bus:
    • Take bus 12 (special Airport Line).
    • Get off at the Luxembourg station (Place du Luxembourg).
    • On leaving the station, take the Rue du Luxembourg, then take the 4th street on your right (Rue du Commerce 41) (five minutes by foot from the Place du Luxembourg).
  • By Train/Underground (one of the following):
    • Get off at the Central Station and then take a taxi.
    • Get off at the Central Station. From there, take the underground, line 1, destination Herrmann-Debroux (1A) or Stockel/Stokkel (1B), to Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet. Then change to underground line 2, destination Clemenceau, to Trône/Troon (exit 'Luxembourg'). Walk on Rue du Luxembourg and take the 1st street on your left (Rue du Commerce 41).
    • Get off at the Central Station. From there, take the bus 38, destination Héros/Helden, and get off at Trône/Troon. Walk on Rue du Luxembourg and take the 1st street on your left (Rue du Commerce 41).
    • Get off at the South Station/Midi Station. From there, take the underground, line 2, destination Simonis, to Trône/Troon (exit 'Luxembourg'). Walk on Rue du Luxembourg and take the 1st street on your left (Rue du Commerce 41).

From the South Station/Midi Station

  • Take the underground, line 2, destination Simonis, to Trône/Troon (exit 'Luxembourg'). Walk on Rue du Luxembourg and take the 1st street on your left (Rue du Commerce 41).

The Cascade Hotel is the hotel we use most often. It is located at 2 underground stations from South Station/Midi Station and it is very easy to reach if you arrive by Eurostar/Thalys. If you arrive by plane, you should take the train from the airport to the South Station/Midi Station.

From Brussels Airport (by train) via South Station/Midi:

  • Get off at the South Station/Midi Station. From there, take the underground, line 2, direction Simonis, to Hôtel des Monnaies/Munthof (exit 'Hôtel des Monnaies/Munthof').
  • At the top of the escalator, turn around and take the street Hôtel des Monnaies to the right (video shop at the corner). The hotel is on the opposite left hand corner of the first cross road (2 min walking distance).

From the CASCADE Hotel to the ECA Office:

ECA Office is located at 3 underground stops from Cascade Hotel (all the way Hotel-ECA takes +- 10 min).

From the underground station Hôtel des Monnaies/Munthof, take the underground, line 2, destination Simonis, to Trône/Troon (exit 'Luxembourg'). Walk on Rue du Luxembourg and take the 1st street on your left (Rue du Commerce 41).
