What is the issue?

ECA's Member Associations (MAs) face many challenges, be it of an industrial or technical nature. Some of them do not always have the resources to deal with multiple issues at the same time. Hence, such MAs can request concrete and personalised advice on specific issues they are facing, according to their resources.

How is ECA involved?

ECA, together with the International Federation of Airline Pilots' Associations (IFALPA), and the requesting MA can set up a dedicated program and visit focused on the MA's specific needs. Where necessary, ECA can call on experts in specific areas to join the team. ECA also involves the other (neighbouring) MAs, which can become 'fostering' MAs, being a point of contact and advice for the MA.

Why is the issue important to ECA?

ECA was created to represent its MAs and complement their work at European level. As such, we have an interest in strong, well-organised members and in giving them guidance and assistance on the many challenges they are facing. Thanks to the Road Show, ECA can assist them more closely, and address their specific needs.
